My brother is in Class X (SSC). He is studying with NCERT syllabus. He need syllabus of Yoga subject. So will you please give syllabus of Yoga for Class X (SSC)?

The NCERT includes Health and Physical Education as a subject for Class 1st to 10th.

In class X, there is a lesson on Yoga.

Yoga includes following topics:
Do we feel stressed?
Stress and factors inducing stress.
Role of Yoga in stress management
Photographs, Posters of yogic practices, Audiovisual aids
Demonstration and performing of various Asanas:
Shirshasana, Shalabasana, Bakasana, Mayurasana (for boys), Hamsh asana (for girls), Uttana
Kurmasana (for boys), Anuloma –viloma

Basic pharmacology and how does it has impact on the human body and illness, Vital statistics
Knowledge about measuring BP, Pulse-rate and Mid arm circumference Examination of
conjunctiva, tongue nail bed etc.

Physical Education
Relationship of physical education with other discipline of knowledge

Tournaments Knowledge
About drawing of fixtures Merits and De-merits of each type of fixtures, Scheduling of
matches.
