IIT JEE Exam Eligibility Criteria :

Age Criteria::
25 years.
For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, the relaxed age limit is 30 years.

Educational Qualification:

Candidate must qualify 12th class or equivalent exam

Candidates belonging to the general category must secure a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination .

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Disabled (PD) categories must secure a minimum of 55% in aggregate in the Qualifying Examination.

Number of Attempts :
03 ( three ).

IIT JEE Main Exam Pattern :

JEE Main Paper 1:
Engineering Entrance Exam for B.E./B. Tech..

JEE Main Paper 2:
Architecture Entrance Exam for B. Arch./B. Planning.

Paper 1
Pen and paper based (Offline).
Computer based test (CBT).
Subjects :
Physics,
Chemistry
Mathematics

Duration of exam :
3 hours (180 minutes)

Question paper consists of 90 questions.

Paper 2
Pen and paper based (offline).

Part I: Mathematics
Part II: Aptitude Test
Part III: Drawing Test

Part I – Aptitude Test has 50 objective type questions

Part II has 30 objective type questions

Part III consists of 2 questions
