Well the Indian Institute of Science is a public university for scientific research and higher education located in Bangalore, India.

Yes there is a research going on for the Nonlinear Dynamics in the IISC below I have given you the details for the same

Nonlinear Dynamical Systems and Turbulence constitute important areas of mathematical research.

It can be applied to a wide variety of areas ranging from physics to biology to engineering.

Given this wide applicability there is a great need within the country for persons well trained in nonlinear dynamical systems and turbulence and their applications.

This need is felt not just in the academic community but also in various national laboratories.

NMI is a natural outgrowth of the IISc Mathematics Initiative (IMI) which was started in 2003

To Pursue the Research in the IISC you have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

M Sc or equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

or

ME/M Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering discipline

or

BE/B Tech or equivalent degree in Engineering discipline
