Maharashtra Public Service Commission is a body created by the Constitution of India to select applicants for the post of Tax Assistant. MPSC is established Under Article 315 of Constitution of India which provides a smooth and efficient functioning of the Government of Maharashtra by providing suitable candidates for various Posts. Academic Qualification: Graduation Degree or its equivalent Applicants must know the Marathi Language Typing Speed of contestants must be 30 wpm in Marathi & 40 wpm in English Selection Pattern: The selection is done on the basis of performance in the following stages. Written Examination Personal Interview Age Limit: The age of interested candidates must be above 18 years and below 38 years as on above mentioned cutoff date. Upper age relaxation will be applicable to reserved categories as per norms of the state government. Pay Scale (per month): The selected applicants will get a pay band of Rs. 05,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- and Rs. 02,400/- grade pay. Application Fees (Non-Adjustable): Rs. 373/- for General Category Applicants Rs. 273/- for Reserved Category Aspirants Rs. 23/- for Ex-Serviceman Quota Pattern for Written Exam 1. Marathi. 2. English. 3. General Knowledge. 4. Intelligence Test. 5. Current Affairs. 6. Book- Keeping & Accountancy. Total Number of Questions: 200 Total Marks: 400 Time Duration: 2 hours.
