I want to know the selection process of Indian Space Research Organization ISRO for Scientist/Engineer Post?

Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO) Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB) has released the notification for the recruitment of Scientist/ Engineer SC vacancies in various disciplines such as Electronics, Mechanical and Computer Science on temporary basis.

The application process of the recruitment was held from May 5th 2016 to May 25th 2016.

Post Name: Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’

Number of Vacancy: 375 Posts

Vacancies by Department:

1. Electronics - 216
2. Mechanical - 109
3. Computer Science – 50

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100/-

Grade Pay: Rs. 5400/-

Selection Process:

(1) Written test
(2) Interview.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and Interview.

Educational Qualification:

BE/ B.Tech or equivalent qualification in first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks.

Application Fee:

Candidates should pay Rs.100/- at any nearest branch of SBI through the Challan generated in the favor of ISRO.

SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWD & women candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Important Dates:

Online Application mode starts on: 5th May 2016
Online Application mode ends on: 25th May 2016
Fee payment to be done before: 26th May 2016
Applications must be submitted by: 1st June 2016
Date of Offline test: July 3rd 2016
Date of release of Answer keys: July 7th 2016
Last date for clearing Candidate’s objections: July 12th 2016
