I want to build my career in medical line and planning to take admission in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for this given the PMT Exam. Can you please provide details about different courses seats available in BHU for PMT candidates also tell eligibility criteria to apply here?

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916.

BHU MBBS Course Duration:

MBBS – 5 ½ years (including one year compulsory rotating internship training)

MBBS Distribution of Seats:

Total MBBS Seats in IMS-BHU = 84 seats (total medical seats in IMS BHU)

Dental Course in BHU

BDS Distribution of Seats:

General 19
OBC 10
SC 6
ST 3

Total BDS Seats in IMS BHU = 38 seats (total dental seats in BHU)

BHU Medical Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 year of 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination may also apply.

Age: Completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
