Tentative dates
Start date for online registration: 3rd week June 2017
Last date for submit of application: 3rd week July 2017
correction in Application form allow between: 3rd week July to last week July 2017
Last date for payment of fee: 3rd week July 2017
Date for issue admit card: 3rd week August 2017
Examination date: 3rd week September 2017

Application fees
CATEGORY Only Paper – I or II Both Paper – I & II

General/OBC Rs.600/- Rs.1000/-

SC/ST/Differently Abled Person Rs.300/- Rs.500/-

Eligibility
1. Eligibility Criteria for Paper I
Candidate must have 50% in (10 + 2) i. e. higher secondary along with two-year diploma in elementary education OR

Candidate must have 50% in senior secondary along with either a 4 year’s degree of education or the candidate has appeared in the last year of their B.ED

2. Eligibility Criteria for Paper II
Candidate must have secured 50% in graduation along with one-year degree of Bachelor in education (B-ED) or (B-ED) in special education OR

Candidate must have secured 50% in senior secondary along with either a degree or have appeared in last year in any of following courses B.A/B.SC.ED or B.A.ED/B.SC.ED


Exam pattern
The exam is an objective type multiple choice exam.

The duration of entrance test will be of 2 and half hours.

The exam will consist of multiple choice questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I (Hindi), Language II (English), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Each question will carry one mark.

Selection
The selection process is based on performance of the candidate in CTET Entrance test and interview conducted by the department.
