Age Limit For AIIMS MBBS Exam

I want to know the age limit required to apply for AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam so can you please tell me?

AIIMS MBBS 2016 entrance examination is conducted by CBSE for admission to as many as 672 MBBS seats across 7 AIIMS like institutions.

AIIMS MBBS Eligibility:

Age:

Candidates must complete 17 years at the time of admission

Education Qualification:

12th class with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an same examination from a recognised Board

Candidates appearing in 10+2/HSC can also apply

General and OBC candidates must have passed 10+2/HSC in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 60% marks while for SC/ST the qualifying marks is 50%

Candidates must be Indian nationals.
Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are also eligible

Foreign candidates are not required to appear for the entrance examination

AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern:

The exam conducted in online mode i.e. computer based test (CBT).

The exam was of 3 hours and 30 minutes

Bilingual - English or Hindi

Multiple choice and reason-assertion based

Distribution of Questions-

Physics – 60
Chemistry – 60
Biology – 60
General Knowledge - 20

Total – 200 Questions

Marking Scheme-

For correct answer: +1 marks are given
For incorrect answer: -1/3 (One third) mark is deducted
