All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS was established in the year 1956 in Ansari Nagar, New Delhi. It is one of the premiere medical institutes. A large number of students give the entrance exam for MBBS program every year. There is a separate entrance exam of AIIMS for admission in MBBS program.

Eligibility Criteria :
The candidate should have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of a recognised University/Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.

How to Apply:
Online: General / OBC Category: Rs.1000/- (SC/ST Category: Rs.800/-) + Transaction Charges as applicable. Payment through Computer generated Challan Form in any branch of State Bank of India.
Offline: Against Demand Draft (from Examination Section, AIIMS, New Delhi only)
By Hand: General/OBC Category Rs.1000/- (SC/ST Category Rs.800/-)
By Post: General/OBC Category Rs.1050/- (SC/ST Category Rs.850/-)

Age limit:
A candidate should have attained the age of atleast 17 years.

Pattern of examination:
AIIMS Entrance for MBBS is of three and a half hours duration having 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions. There are 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge. There is negative marking for incorrect answers.

Expected date of declaration of result: 15th July, 2011

these r questions of pg entrance, not ug entrance... does anyone hv questions of ug entrance? i see these questions being shared in every thread as questions of mbbs entrance!!
