Hello sir I want to know that which organization is provides affiliation to Punjab Engineering College.

Punjab Engineering College is affiliated by the Panjab University. The Punjab Engineering College University of Technology having its roots in Lahore as Mugalpura Engineering College since 1921.

This University is moved to its present campus in 1953 as PEC affiliated to Panjab University.

The institute became Deemed University in 2003 through a MHRD notification and rechristened as PEC University of Technology in 2009.

The college was affiliated to Punjab University, Lahore. After partition in 1947, the college was relocated to Roorkee in India and was renamed as East Punjab College of Engineering.

The university was ranked #9 in the limited participation CSR-GHRDC Engineering Colleges Survey 2013.

It was ranked #16 in the Mint Top 50 Government Engineering Colleges Survey of 2009
