The Department of Chemical Sciences of Tezpur University was established in the year 1997.
This department is supported by DST-FIST and UGC-SAP (DRS-II) level.

Integrated M. Sc. in Chemistry (10 semesters)

Integrated B. Sc. B. Ed. in Chemistry (6+2 semesters)

M. Sc. in Chemistry (4 semesters)

M. Tech. in Polymer Science and Technology (4 semesters)

Ph. D. * (8 semsters)

* Ph. D. programs in the broad areas of Chemistry such as Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Bio-inorganic Chemistry, Crystal Engineering & Crystallography, Supramolecular Chemistry, Surfactants, Water Treatments, Polymer Chemistry, Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, Catalysis and Nanoparticles.

The Department organises Conferences, Seminars, Workshops and Science Popularization Programs as outreach activities in the field of Chemical Sciences.
