According to sources in IIT 3 to 4 % seat will be reserved for physically challenged students. If required no of student are not available then seat will be given to general candidate.

Its total of 125 seats all over the IIT's (might get increased)

Documents they want at the time of counselling if you get selected:-
1. Date of birth (matriculation certificate)
2.12 passing certificate
3. PH certificate
4. Caste certificate

I am going to apply for Joint Entrance Examination – Main Exam. Will you tell about Physically Disabled Students benefits and reservations in IIT also provide exam important dates?

Joint Entrance Examination – Main, formerly All India Engineering Entrance Examination, is an examination organised by the National Testing Agency in India

Physically Disabled Students benefits and reservations in IIT

JEE (Advanced), students with 40% or more disabilities will get an extra hour for each of the two papers of JEE advanced exam

In every IIT, 3% of the seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD) for all the branches and specialization to encourage one to study his/her field of interest

Other reservation criteria:

Category Reservation of Seats
Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) 27%
Scheduled Caste (SC) 15%
Scheduled Tribe (ST) 7.5%

Important dates:

Release of Online Application 7th February 2020
Last date to submit application 12th March 2020 (Extended)
Last date of fee submission & image uploading 12th March 2020
Application correction window 13th – 16th March 2020
Downloading of Admit card After 31st March 2020
JEE Mains 2020 Exam April 2020
Announcement of Result By 30th April 2020
