Indian Navy invites applications for enrolment as Sailors for Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) - 01/2017 Batch course commencing from February 2017.

Pay Scale - Rs.5200-20200 with GP of Rs.2000/-

Educational Qualification –

10+2 (12th)/ equivalent examination pass with Maths, Physics and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science.

Physical Standards-

Height - Minimum 157 Cms

Chest - Minimum 5 Cms expansion

Weight - Proportionate to height and age

Physical Fitness Test (PFT) - PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run in 07 minutes, 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups.

Selection & Recruitment Process-

Selection of candidates will be based on their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.

Results of the Written Test will be announced on the same day and those who qualify Written test will undergo PFT and Recruitment Medical Examination (Preliminary).

Candidates who qualify in all respects will be shortlisted depending upon available vacancies.
