The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences continued and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Fellowships:- SA/SX/SB - during 1st to 3rd years of - B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math / Integrated M.Sc. /M.S •Monthly Fellowship - Rs. 5000 •Annual Contingency Grant - Rs. 20000 SA/SX/SB - during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S./M.Math./M.Stat •Monthly Fellowship - Rs. 7000 •Annual Contingency Grant - Rs. 28000 KVPY 2016 Notification:- Opening of online application portal: 10th July 2016 Last date for closing of online application: 16th August 2016 Last date for submitting online application: 23rd August 2016 KVPY 2016 Date:- 6th Nov 2016 KVPY 2016 Syllabus:- There is no prescribed syllabus for the written exam. The written exam aims to test the understanding and analytical ability of the student than his/her factual knowledge. However, students are tested for the syllabus up to class X/XII/1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat. /B.Math. /Int. M.Sc./M.S. as applicable. Paper Pattern Selection Procedure for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY):- •After scrutiny of application forms and meeting the eligibility criteria for various streams, all eligible students are called for a written aptitude test conducted both in Hindi and English at different centers across India. •Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students will be asked to appear for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure.
