Hello, here I am providing you the details of the KVPY for the class X students as under:

Eligibility:
Students of class X and XII of both government and private schools are eligible for KVPY scholarships.
The students of class XI to first year of undergraduate programme in Basic Sciences namely B.Sc. /B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology are selected for this coveted National level fellowship/scholarship examination.

Paper pattern:
Subject Part I Part II
Mathematics 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
Physics 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
Chemistry 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each
Biology 20 questions-1 mark each 10 questions-2 marks each

Duration:
3 hours

Important dates:
Opening of online application portal : 10th July 2016
Last date for closing of online application : 16th August 2016
Last date for submitting online application : 23rd August 2016
Exam Date : 6th Nov 2016
