Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is the space agency of the Indian government.
It was formed in the year 1969.
It’s headquarter is located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

ISRO is managed by the Department of Space (DoS) of the Government of India.
DoS itself falls under the authority of the Prime Minister and the Space Commission, and manages the following agencies and institutes:

Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), Thiruvananthapuram.
