Xavier Institute of Social Service is a Jesuit-run business school in Ranchi, India.

It was established as an extension department of St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, in 1955 by Fr. Michael A. Windey, S.J. with the objective of training young men and women in Rural Development, Personnel Management and Industrial Relations

This Institute do not offer MBA but the equivalent course offered by this Institute is Postgraduate Diploma in Management below I am providing you details related to this Course Admission

Duration: 2 Years

Courses offered:

-Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Human Resource Management PGDM (HRM)

-Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Rural Management PGDM (RM)

-Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Information Technology PGDM (IT)

-Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Finance PGDM (Finance)

-Postgraduate Diploma in Management in Marketing PGDM (Marketing)


Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM program at the Institute is three / four years bachelor`s degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (50% for SC/ST) in any discipline recognized University

Candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their graduate degree examination are also eligible to appear for the admission process
