Candidates in TNEA can check their random number and the other important details about the application status at the link of TNEA.

The applications processed will be assigned with a random number to resolve conflicts during the ranking process. Student can get the random number by entering the Application Number in the form.

TNEA Random Number assignment is done by the Anna University.

Random number for TNEA or Anna University Counselling, is for the purpose of determining inter-se merit when candidates have same marks in common merit list, and same percentage of marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Fourth optional subject.

Random Number is a system auto generated number. This will be a 10 digit number. This Random Number will be considered as the 5th priority on the TNEA ranking.

TamilNadu Engineering (TNEA) application forms will be issued immediately after the Tamil Nadu HSC/ +2 results.

The merit list will be prepared based on the cut-off marks from Higher Secondary Exam (HSE) subjects of
