Default Re: Traveling In India Alone

It is good that you want to travel in India alone as India is a good place to travel and you will find so many new things in India the people of India are awesome and helpful some of the tips I would like to share with which will hep you while traveling to India Alone

Drink sterilized water.

Patience. Not everything will work on your timetable in India but, in my experience, it all does work. Like the traffic, India operates on it’s own inner logic

To be left Alone (2)– If (as a woman) you are being annoyed by a man offering you a rickshaw or tour of the city, look to the ground and say that your brother does not allow you to speak to strange men. I can’t believe

Reservations – You can book by phone or email.

Ask for a pick up

Check your room – Before you agree to stay, check your room and confirm the price. No window? Ask for another or a discount

Befriend and accompany good people.
There are lots of good people in India, who you can trust and be friends with.

Always stay connected
Share your travel experiences constantly with your family back home. Stay connected via phone, email and social network sites.

Choose good accommodation.
Never ever compromise when it comes to accommodation. No matter how tight your budget is, make sure that you choose a good place to stay.

Avoid using taxis when you are alone
Public transport, such as buses and local trains are always better modes of commuting compared to taxis
