The Allocation of the seat/branch, in VITEEE counselling, will be done as per the All India Ranks (AIR) of the shortlisted candidates in VITEEE 2016 and according to the availability of the seats. It is mandatory for the candidates to be present physically for the counselling.

VITEEE 2016 E-Admit Card
Counselling Admit Card
Class X Board Certificate for Proof of age or any other documentary proof of age.
Class XII Board Exam Hall Ticket
Marksheet of the Qualifying Examination (if available).
School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate (for candidates who have completed the qualifying examination)
Community Certificate (applicable for SC/ST candidates)
Nativity Certificate (applicable for candidates who hail from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura ).
Student Profile filled in by the student
Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘VIT University’.


Counseling procedure
VITEEE Counseling for admission to B.Tech programs will be done simultaneously in Vellore and Chennai campuses, through online multicity counseling procedure.

Candidates can opt to appear for counseling in any one of the cities- either Vellore or Chennai.

Candidates shall come on the scheduled day of counseling and register themselves in the counseling centre after exercising their choice of the counseling centre. They will be called into the counseling hall according to their VITEEE Rank
