Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts Maharashtra-Common Entrance Test (MAH-CET) for taking to admission to first year Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs in the Government, University Managed, University Departments and Unaided Institutes in the Maharashtra State. This online test is followed by a group discussion and personal interview (GDPI). Eligibility One must have minimum 50% (45% for backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) aggregate in graduation from any recognized University. Candidates appearing for final year of qualifying exam are also eligible to appear. One who have appeared for CAT (conducted by IIMs)/ GMAT (conducted by GMAC, USA)/ CMAT (Conducted by AICTE)/ MAT (conducted by AIMA)/ XAT (conducted by XLRI)/ ATMA (conducted by AIMS)/ MAH-MBA/MMS-CET are considered to be eligible for admission against the all India seats subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria. Such candidates are also required to fill & confirm online Application form as per the schedule. Age Limit: There is no age limit for admission to first year of two year Post Graduate course in Management - MBA / MMS / PGDBM / PGDM. MAH CET MBA Syllabus Verbal ability Reading Compression Quantitative analysis Data sufficiency Data interpretation Analytical reasoning Verbal reasoning Non-verbal reasoning MAH CET MBA Exam Pattern The paper comprises of 200 multiple choice objective type questions of 1 mark each. The time for the test shall be about 150 minutes. The language of paper shall be in English only. No marks will be reduced for wrong answers.
