OICL Syllabus for Accounts

Hi I would like to have the syllabus for the Oriental Insurance Administrative Officer as I would like to know what to study and prepare for the examination?

OICL is one of the govt insurance agency in India, it has branches all over India.

The organization have discharges the vocation notice for filling opening in the accompanying divisions "Accounts, Legal, Marketing, Generalists and Actuaries and others and in addition and when required.

OICL AO Generalist/ Specialist Exam Syllabus:
Quantitative Aptitude: In this section all the questions are asked from simplification, averages, number system, Time & Work, Area & Volume, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Investment, HCF & LCM, Problem On Ages, Percentages, Graphs & Charts, Time & Speed

General Awareness: In this section, current affairs of national & international events is the main focus. More questions on Banking, General Science, important dates, Technology, Sports & Culture are asked in exam. Political, social, economic, geographical questions are asked in the exam.

Reasoning: This section will include the questions based on both verbal & non- verbal type. The questions are based on general intelligence. Venn Diagrams, Arithmetic Series, Coding & de-coding, Comprehension Reasoning, Statement & Conclusions, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements, pattern matching, missing patterns, odd man series are type of questions asked in exam.

Computer Awareness: This is the important part of every post so every individual need to know basics of computers. Computer Organization, MS Office (MS word, MS Excel, MS power point), Internet, LAN, WAN, Generations, Input & Output Device questions are asked in the exam.

English Language: In this section, the questions are asked from Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms), comprehension passages, grammar (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs), idioms & proverbs, phrasal verbs, sentence completion

In Descriptive Test, it is important to increase the vocabulary and knowledge. So, practice the essay writing, précis writing for the better performance in exam.
