ONGC Graduate Trainee Exam pattern

ONGC conducts two papers to recruits on the graduate trainee post.

There are objective and descriptive type questions for both papers.

Paper I -

There are 50 questions from general knowledge in the first paper.

Question paper consist of objective type question

Each question carries one mark.

There are will be two descriptive type questions

Each descriptive type question carry 5 marks.

Paper II –

Paper second will be from aspirant specialization subject.
There are total 100 marks defined for second paper.

There are in second paper will be 75 question.

Each objective type question carries 1.5 marks and 5 - 5 marks for 2 descriptive type questions.

The exam will be over on three hours duration.

Aptitude Test will consist of following topics:

Comprising of Reading Comprehension
Verbal/ Non-verbal Reasoning,
Numerical Ability
Quantitative Aptitude
Data Interpretation

ONGC Graduate Trainee Exam Pattern
Graduate Trainee Exam Pattern undergoes 3 sections.
Time duration for ONGC GT Exam is 3hours for 200marks.

General awareness-—> common paper to all (50 questions)
Specialization subject —->Specific to your disclipne (100 questions)
Aptitude Test —–> aptitude paper consists of reasoning/comprehension/numerical ability/data interpretation (50 questions)
