Head constable is mostly known as ‘Havaldar’, the way Indians call it .
As per central government personnel classification that’s a group ‘C’ non-technical post carrying a pay band of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2400/- . Rs.7,510/-, that’s the minimum amount you are going to get as your first per month salary as a fresher.

Candidates who pass the written examination have to appear in Typing Skill Test.

2) For HC(Min) – Typing on computer – minimum 35 w.p.m in English or minimum 30 w.p.m in Hindi.

i) Computers for the Typing Test/Shorthand speed will be provided by the Recruitment Centres.

ii) Typing speed test will be conducted only on computers.


Education Qualification

The Candidate must be a 12th class pass out; Or must posses a equivalent qualification from a recognized board by government (State or Central).

The candidate’s age must be in between 18 to 25 years as on closing date of recruitment
