The University of Kent is a public research university based in Kent, United Kingdom. It was established in 1965 and is recognised as a plate glass university.

European Computer Driving Licence ECDL Extra

The ability to use a computer effectively is an essential life skill.

Computer skills enable people of all ages to understand and use technology to improve their personal and professional lives.

Studying for ECDL Extra is very flexible-

You can self-study using your elearning account

You can attend tutor-led courses

Workbooks are also available, either on loan or view online

A combination of the above

Cost -

The qualification fee for staff is £200: this includes registration with the British Computer Society (BCS), a diagnostic (practice test) and certification test for each of the four modules while you are at the University.

The charge for resits is currently £12 per test.

Options for studying-

Office 2010/2013 workbooks

Use your Enlight courseware account

Try your diagnostic

you may need to suspend the diagnostic if not completed in the hour

you can access the diagnostic as many times as you require until you are ready to exit and see your score
