You have to clear Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam to join Indian Air Force.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) exam is conducted by Indian Air Force for recruitment of candidates in its various departments.

AFCAT exam eligibility for Women-

Flying Branches:

Bachelor's degree / B.E / B.Tech in any discipline with 60% of marks in aggregate

Age: Between 19 to 23 years

Height & Weight:

Minimum height: 162.5 cms with correlated weight
Leg length: 99 cms, Max 120 cms.
Thigh Length: Max 64 cms
Sitting Height: Min 81.5 cms, Max 96 cms

Technical Branch:

4 year Bachelor's degree (B.E / B.Tech) from a recognised university of cleared section A and B examination

Age: Between 18 to 28 years

Height & Weight:

Height: 152 cms with correlated weight.

Ground Duty Branches:

For Administration & Logistics:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate
OR
Postgraduate degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate

For Accounts:

Bachelor's degree in commerce discipline with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate
OR
Postgraduate degree / equivalent Diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate

For Education:

Postgraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate

Height & Weight: Height: 152 cms with correlated weight.

Age:

For Graduates: 20 to 23 years.

For Postgraduates: 20 to 25 years.

For LL.B: 20 to26 years.

For M.ed /Ph.D / CA /ICWA: 20 to 27 years.
