Indian Air Force offers a glorious career opportunity to technical graduates.

IAF has Aeronautical Engineering Course (AEC) which is further divided in Electronics and Mechanical.

Both Women and Men are applicable for Aeronautical Engineering Branch, however women are given (SSC) Short Service Commission.

General Eligibility

Nationality - Indian

Age - 18 to 28 years

Gender - Men and Women

Marital Status – Applicants below the age of 25 years should be unmarried

UES (University Entry Scheme)

Gender - Male Only

Educational Qualification –

Applicants studying in Pre-final year of BE / B.Tech degree course.

There must be No backlog .

On completion of degree,60% of marks in aggregate in all papers are mandatory.

AEC (Aeronautical Engineering Course)

Gender - Men and Women

Educational Qualification -

1. Applicants must have obtained 60% marks in aggregate .

2. Final year students are eligible to apply .

Educational Qualifications for Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics)

1. Passed Section A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India)

Four year degree qualification from a recognized University

Passed Section A and B examination of Aeronautical Society of India

Graduate membership exam of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies

It is mandatory that applicant should have studied at least eight subjects out of the list - Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Graphics / Physics / Engineering Physics, Mathematics /Drawing, Electrical Technology / Electrical Engineering, Microprocessors, Control Engineering, Digital / Computer Networks, Network Theory Design, Basic Electronics, Information Technology, Electronic Circuit Design, Telecommunication Systems, Microwave Engineering, Radar Theory, Instrumentation, Switching Theory, Electronic Devices and Antenna and Wave Propagation.
