CDSE Exam Age

Will you please provide the educational qualifications required to apply for the Combined Defense Services (CDS) examination ? Also provide the age eligibility .

Combined Defense Services exam directed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to the Officers Training Academy, Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.

Age Limit:-

Indian Maritime Academy (IMA) :- Unmarried Male aspirants aged between 18 and 22 years are eligible to apply.

Indian Naval Academy (INA):- The age of Unmarried Male applicants must be between 18 and 22 years of age.

Indian Airforce Academy (IAA):- The age of Unmarried Male applicants must be between 18 and 22 years .

For Officers Training Academy (SSC Course for Men):- The age of Unmarried/Married Male applicants must be between 18 and 22 years .

For Officers Training Academy [ SSC Course for Women (Non-Technical)]:- The age of Umarried/Issueless Widows/Issuless Divorcees applicants must be between 18 and 22 years of age .

Educational Qualification:-

For IMA and Officer's Training Academy:-

Applicants must have obtained a Degree from a recognized university .

For Indian Naval Academy :-

Applicants must have obtained a Engineering Degree.

For AirForce Academy:-

Applicants must have obtained a Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Chemistry as subjects in 10+2) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Applicants in the final year are also eligible .
