This 3 month full time program will provide intensive training for medical professionals to acquire skills for occupational health practice.This AFIH course in Mumbai primarily meant for doctors to prepare them with knowledge in Occupational Health, which would enable them to prevent occupational and work related diseases in industry.In this AFIH course in Mumbai the content of this program will be theory on various aspects of occupational Health and Industrial Medicine practice.

Eligibility for AFIH Course Admission:

MBBS Degree from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
Completion of Internship.
Permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.
Minimum one year experience as a full time Medical Officer in Occupational Health related work in an industry or 2 years in general practice after the date of completion of internship..

Following are eligibility criteria and course content of Associate Fellow Of Industrial Health:

Eligibility

Applicant must have MBBS Degree from an Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Completion of Internship.

Permanent Registration with the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.

Minimum one year experience as a full time Medical Officer in Occupational Health related work in an industry or 2 years in general practice after the date of completion of internship.


Fee:
Rs. 3300/- (likely to be revised) payable by Demand Draft as Institute fee.

Rs. 4000/- in cash payable to the Course Managing Committee.


Course contents:
Theory: Various aspects of Occupational health and Industrial Medicine Practice.

Practical and Clinical training, Educational visits, Group discussions, Project work etc.

Selection:
Shortlisted candidates should call for interview at Mumbai. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The candidates should produce all the certificates and documents in original at the time of interview.
