 Fees and eligibility for the Income tax officer examination?
I want to appear for the SSC examination. I would like to know the exact procedure, fees as well as the eligibility for the Income tax officer examination .I have done MBA in finance from N L Dalmia Institue of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai. The last date for filling of the application is 2nd March, 2011 and The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts various exams every year. The eligibility for the candidates is the Candidates must be graduate from any stream or contain degree of a recognized University, or equal The fees for the application form is Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman. The Age should be 18 - 27 yrs of age at the time of Appearing. Paper pattern: For this exam the paper contains the question of General Intelligence, General English, Arithmetical Ability, and General Awareness, knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect. The test will also include History, Geography, Economic, General policy, Scientific Research etc. Physical Standards (Minimum) a) Height: 157.5cm b) Chest: 81cm, fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm c) Physical Test: i)Walking:1600 meters in 15 minutes ii) Cycling: 8 Km in 30 minutes Selection Procedure: The selection is based on the entrance exam and the Personal Interview of the candidates. |
