National Institute in Industrial Engineering (NITIE) was established in the year 1963; it was funded by the Government of India. Following are the details of admission in this university:

Admission in the PGDIE:
The Admissions to PGDIE course are open to graduates in all branches of Engineering/Technology or equivalent.

Eligibility:
The candidate must have first class degree (relaxable by 5% incase for SC/ST/PD candidates).

Admission procedure:
The admissions are based on the GATE score. Anyone above a cutoff percentile in any branch of GATE is eligible to apply and after that the final selection is based on a weighted score derived from GATE and GD/PI scores.
