Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts written examination for different Groups 1, 2, 4 to filling up various vacant posts.

Age Limit for Groups 1:
Name of the Post Minimum Age Upper Age
For all the posts except the post of Assistant Commissioner 21 Years 30 Years
Assistant Commissioner (C.T.)

(i) For candidates possessing any degree 21 Years 30 Years

(ii) For candidates possessing B.L. degree of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. 21 Years 31 Years

Educational Qualification for Groups 1:
Must have Graduation degree or equivalent from the recognized University

Candidates, who have written the final year degree examination, may also apply for Preliminary Examination

Knowledge of Tamil:
Candidates should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

Selection Procedure:
The selection will be made in three successive stages:
Preliminary Examination
Main Written Examination
Interview
