Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan TGT Exam details are as given below:

TGT Exam

Eligibility:
The applicant should have pass BA /B.Com /B.Sc. in the concerned subjects and B.Ed along with CBSE CTET.

Salary
For TGT:
Rs.26250

Selection Process:
The candidates who possess the required eligibility will be called for an Interview held for this purpose on the dates as specified in the official notification.

Weightage of Marks:
The final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the part 2 of the paper and interview.

Written Part 2 Exam: 70%

Interview Part of Exam: 30%

Here I am providing the detailed information about the KVS TGT Exam which you are looking for .

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan recruits experienced teaching personnel for its schools located all over the country.

Eligibility for TGT:-

• Applicants must have hold a Bachelors degree with atleast 50 percent marks in concerned subjects and combination of subjects.

• Applicants must Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE following NCTE guidelines.

• Applicants must have Proficiency in teaching languages of hindi and english.

Upper Age Limit:- 35 years

Age Relaxation:-

a) Upto a maximum of 3 years in the case of OBC applicants .

b) Upto a maximum of 5 years in the case of SC/ ST applicants .

Exam Pattern:

For the post of TGT (P&HE, WE, AE) and Librarian:-

Part I comprises of 40 multiple objective type questions in the subjects Hindi and English carrying one mark each.

Part II comprises of 160 multiple type objective questions carrying 1 mark each comprising of the following sections
•Reasoning and Numerical Ability (30)
•Current Affairs (30)
•Concerned subject (100) questions.

The test will be of three hours duration.

Part II of applicants will be evaluated only if applicant qualifies Part I obtaining 5 marks each in English & Hindi subjects and 13 marks in aggregate in English and Hindi subjects.

The final merit list based on the performance of the applicant in written test (Part II) and interview.

The weightage of written test and interview will be 70:30.

For the posts of TGT (English, Hindi, Maths, Sanskrit, Science and Social Studies)

Part I of the question paper will consist of 30 multiple choice objective questions in Hindi 15) and English (15) questions carrying one mark each.

Part II comprises of 120 multiple choice objective questions carrying one mark each comprising of the following sections

•Reasoning Ability (40)
•Current Affairs (40)
•Teaching Methodology (40).

The total duration will be of two and a half hours each.

Part II of the question paper of the applicant will be evaluated only if applicant qualifies part I of the exam obtaining 4 marks each in Hindi and English subjects and 10 marks in aggregate.

The final merit based on the written test and interview and the weightage will be 70:30.
