Andhra Pradesh State offers admission into 1 year Language Pandit Training Course ( LPT ) in Government IASEs / CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in AP which is conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all 23 Districts of the State. AP LPCET 2014 Exam Date: 22nd June, 2014. Andhra Pradesh State LPCET Eligibility Criteria Applicant must be of Indian Nationality. One must fulfill Local / Non Local Status requirements as per Presidential order 1974 and amendments thereon pertaining to Regulation of Admissions in Educational Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. AP LPCET Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 19 years of age. There is no upper age limit. AP LPCET Educational Qualifications: The candidates who fulfills minimum qualifying exams are eligible to apply: Telugu Pandit: BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language - Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu) Hindi Pandit: A graduate degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Government of Andhra Pradesh or MA (Hindi). Urdu Pandit: BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or A Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu of M.A. ( Urdu )

The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh conduct the Langauge Pandit Common Entrance Test (LPCET – 2015) for admission into one year Langauge Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The admission prospectus will be available from May 2015. Eligibility- BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu Or Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu) for Telugu Pandit. Graduate degree with Hindi for Hindi Pandit. BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or A Graduate Degree with optional subject Urdu of M.A (Urdu) for Urdu Pandit.
