Tell me after having 59% marks in 12th, 50% in BA, cam I eligible to appear for UP TET exam or not???

Yes, of course after getting 59% marks in 12th, 50% in BA you are eligible to appear for UPTET exam.

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board.

Eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test –

1. Primary Teacher Classes (First-Fifth): -
Eligibility:
The Candidates should have done graduation with at least 50% marks.
Candidates should have two year Diploma in Special Education/Nursery Teacher Training /BTC recognized by NCTE. OR Candidate should have a four year Diploma in Elementary Education

2. Upper Primary Teacher Classes (sixth – eighth):-

Eligibility:
Graduation with 50% marks.
Candidates should have a Bachelor of Education degree

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test consists of two papers.
Total no. of marks:-150
Type of questions: - multiple choice questions
Paper 1:- Exam pattern for Classes First-Fifth
Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks
Mathematics-30 Marks
Environmental Science-30 Marks
Language I-30 Mark
Language II- 30 Marks
Paper 2 - Exam pattern for Classes SIXTHth - EIGHTth
Child Development and Pedagogy- 30 Marks
Social Studies -60 Marks
OR
Mathematics & Science- 60 Marks
Language-I- 30 Marks
Language-II-30 Marks

Hii friend , I want to appear for Teacher Eligibility Test which is Conducted by UP Government , So I want to know what is Eligibility Criteria for this exam , Will you please provide me for same ??

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test is Conducted by UP Government. The Responsibility of Organize UPTET is UP Basic Education Board.

Qualification :

For Primary Level teacher: The Candidates must have Graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks with 2 years diploma in special education (D.Ed) OR BTC training from UP OR 4 year diploma in elementary education.

For Upper Primary Level teacher: The Candidates Should have Graduation degree with minimum of 50% marks with one year degree in elementary education (B.EL.ED) OR BTC training from UP OR 2 years programme in BTC.

Application Fees :

For candidate Belong SC/ ST Category: Rs.200/- and,
For Other Category Candidates : Rs. 400/-

Selection Procedure :

The Selection will be Based on Written Exam.

Those Candidates Who Qualify the UPTET Exam, Board will Provide Score Card/ Rank Card and Mention Their Marks (Obtained by Candidates) in Score Card.
