As you want to get the details of qualifications which are required for the B.Ed courses so here is the information of the same for you: Generally candidates need to hold a bachelors degree or possess higher qualification awarded by a recognized university. Now, since there are various universities offering the program, the eligibility criteria in each of these universities varies. The minimum percentage of marks one need to score in the bachelors degree examination is 50% to be considered eligible for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program offered by most of the universities. Now, if candidates possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience in any recognized school and is presently working as a teacher, may pursue Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program through correspondence mode. However, candidate without any teaching experience or with teaching experience of less then two years has to pursue the course through regular mode.

In order to pursue Bachelor of Education program, the applicant need to hold a bachelors degree or possess higher qualification awarded by a recognized university. But, as per the guidelines of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), candidate who have scored a minimum of 45% marks shall be also considered eligible to pursue the course and so, there are various universities which does considers applicant who have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the graduate examination. Also if a candidates possess at least two years of teaching experience in any recognized school and is presently working as a teacher, may pursue Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program through correspondence.
