The minimum percentage of marks one need to score in the bachelors degree examination is 50% to be considered eligible for Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program offered by most of the universities.

Now, if candidates possess a minimum of two years of teaching experience in any recognized school and is presently working as a teacher, may pursue Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program through correspondence mode. However, candidate without any teaching experience or with teaching experience of less then two years has to pursue the course through regular mode.

But, as per the guidelines of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), candidate who have scored a minimum of 45% marks shall be also considered eligible to pursue the course

and so, there are various universities which does considers applicant who have scored a minimum of 45% marks in the graduate examination.
