To apply for the Masters in Pharmacy (M. Pharm) the applicant should have completed BPharm from an institution recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

In order to enrol in the pharmacy courses you will normally need to have been admitted to Bachelor of Science (BSc) program in a university-level undergraduate program i.e. this course can be enrolled after the completion of class 12th with either PCM or PCB.

The Pharmacy field offers you with plenty of professional opportunities. If anyone wants to make their future in the pharmacy sector than they can choose one of the several courses.

These course may be diploma, degree or postgraduate degree course.

The detailed list of the courses in the Pharmacy sector is given below:

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)

1. Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm):
The D.Pharm is a basic course in the pharmacy field for the duration of 3 years. This course covers the basic information related to the Pharmacy field. It includes all the subjects which are associated to the pharmacy field.

2. Bachelor of pharmacy (B.Pharm):
B.Pharm is an undergraduate degree course in the pharma field. The duration of this course is 4 years. After the conclusion of this course, an individual can practice as a Pharmacist or chemist.

3. Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm):
The master of Pharmacy or M.Pharm is a postgraduate degree course in Pharmacy after the conclusion of this course, the student can either work in a company or go for higher studies.

For admission to the Pharmacy courses, the student must have passed class 12th with PCM/B and must have scored minimum of 50% marks. There are a variety of exams conducted by private and public universities for the admission to the various graduate and postgraduate Pharmacy courses.
