Requirements for joining CBI

Guys, can you tell me the basic Requirements for joining CBI????

To CBI as Sub Inspector you have to crack the Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Following are the details of this examination:

Eligibility:
You must be degree holders from a recognized university

Age criteria:
You must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years as on the first of January of the year, Upper age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates according to the rules of government of India.

Physical standards:
height of 157.5 cms and chest size of 81 cms, fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.


The prelims exam covers following topics:
English Comprehension
Numerical Aptitude
General Awareness
General Intelligence and reasoning ability

The mains exam covers following topics:
Arithmetic ability
Statistics
English comprehension skills
