In Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research candidates from Overseas Citizen of India / Non Resident Indians can fill up 5 seats in MBBS course under Self-Finance Scheme based on Entrance Examination by JIPMER at All India Level. Essential Qualification: Candidate should have completed 12 years of study, the last two years of study should comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English at level not less than core course of English prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training India. At the time of admission the student will have to submit an eligibility certificate obtained from Association of Indian University, New Delhi, certifying that the qualifying examination passed is equivalent to 10+2 examination. The qualification must also be recognized by the Medical Council of India. A combined merit will be drawn among OCI / NRI for purpose of MBBS admission. Age: Must have completed 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December 2013. i.e. Born on or before 01.01.1997. Academic Fees: US $75,000 in Foreign Currency.
