Bar Council of India conducts All India Bar Examination (AIBE) to test an advocate’s capability to practice law profession in India.

After qualifying AIBE, candidates will be awarded ‘Certificate of Practice’ by Bar Council of India.

Tentative Dates for AIBE 2016

Starting for online registration December 2015
Starting of sales of offline registration forms January 2016
Last date for online and offline applications February 2016
Last date for payment in online and offline mode February 2016
Last date to complete online application form February 2016
Last date to receive offline application form at BCI-Delhi February 2016
Online link activation date for admit card verification in online & offline mode
Final online publication of admit cards in online and offline mode March 2016
Examination date (AIBE 2016) March 2016

AIBE Eligibility –

Candidate appearing for AIBE need to have passed LL.B and should be enrolled with any State Bar Council.

Examination pattern:

The duration of All India Bar Examination is 3 hours and 30 minutes.

There will be 100 questions of MCQ type.

The questions will be based on reasoning and knowledge skills.

Application Fee

The candidates have to pay Rs. 2500/- (Examination Fee) + Rs. 60/- (as Bank Charges) through Challan only weather he/she is regular or repeated candidate.
