When will the SRM Entrance Examination for next year admissions (SRMEE 2014) be held?

The SRM University (Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University) is a co-educational private university in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College The institute gained deemed status during the 2003-2004 academic year and was renamed SRM Institute of Science and Technology. It became SRM University in 2006, when it attained the status of a full-fledged university, under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

SRM Entrance Exam Dates:

SRM Entrance Examination 2014 (SRMEE 2014) for admission to programs B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, Health Sciences - Under Graduate will be will be held as follows:

(i) Paper - Pencil Mode: April 27, 2014, Sunday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

(ii) Computer Based Exam: April 17 to April 22, 2014 with two sessions per day.

For B.Tech and Health Sciences UG:
Candidate can choose either Paper – Pencil entrance exam or Online entrance exam.

For M.Tech, MBA and MCA:
All candidates have to appear for online entrance exam only.

Nationality:
Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Qualification:
Candidate must have 10+2 or its equivalent Minimum 70% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

SRMJEEE Pattern
General: Question paper will be only in English

Questions are of objective type

Each question has 4 alternate answers

The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded

Part I: 35 Questions in Mathematics for 105 marks

Part II: 35 Questions in Physics for 105 marks

Part III: 35 Questions in Chemistry for 105 marks

Part IV: 35 Questions in Biology for 105 marks

Part-V: Net Duration of Exam: 2:30 hours

Negative mark of 1 for every wrong answer in physics, chemistry and mathematics and 0.7 for every wrong answer in biology

Total weightage 315 marks
