Junior Basic Training (JBT) course prepares student to become a teacher. To become a teacher in any government organization you should have the Junior Basic Training (JBT) certificate. Following are the details of it: Eligibility The applicant should have clear the Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent with 50% marks from a recognized Board. Age limit 20-27 years (Relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time). Relaxation in upper age limit available to: - SC/ST -05 years, OBC-03 years, PH- 10 years, PH & SC/ST - 15 years PH& OBC -13 years, Departmental Candidates upto 45 years

As per the Directorate of Education, government of NCT of Delhi has provided the basic requirement for teachers mentioned as under: i. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) : . Age Limit: Upper age is 36 years. Essential Qualification for the post: PG in respective subject and B.Ed. ii. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Age Limit : Upper age is 32 years for female 42 years. Essential Qualification for the post: Graduate with minimum 45% marks and B.Ed. iii. Assistant Teacher (Nursery Teacher) : Essential Qualification for the post: 12th pass with Diploma in Teachers Training. Age Limit : Upper age is 32 years.
