Tell me about B.E. (Mechanical Degree) admission procedure and date of joining.plz provide me a contact no of btec (Mechanical Degree)student who is studying (year 2011). By that i can get information from him.

I want to do BE in Mechanical. Does IGNOU offer this program? If yes then what is the admission procedure for this program? Does IGNOU conduct any entrance exam for this?

IGNOU offers B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (Computer Integrated Manufacturing).

Eligibility:
The candidate should have done Three year diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Agriculture/Computer/Civil Engineering.

Admission : There is no entrance exam for this program .

The applicant should have completed Three-year diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Agriculture/ Computer/ Civil Engineering from a recognised polytechnic or its equivalent………

Minimum Duration:
4 Years

This program provides training and continuing education and professional knowledge appropriate for upgrading the diploma level manpower engaged in managing Mechanical/ Production/ Automobiles engineering tasks.
