What is the eligibility for Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme - Short Service Commission (SSC)????

Indian Army has issued notification for the recruitment of 54 vacancies through NCC Special Entry Scheme 36th Course-Oct 2014 Short Service Commission (NT).

Total No. of Vacancies: 54
Name of the Course & Posts: NCC Special Entry Scheme 36th Course – Oct 2014
1. NCC Men: 50 Posts
2. NCC Women: 04 Posts

Eligibility:

Age:
Age limit should be between 18 years and 25 years.

Educational Qualification:

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders:
You should possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, should have served for minimum two academic years in the Senior Division/Wing of N.C.C & should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

II. For Ward of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel:
You must possess Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of screening of candidates on the basis of physical standards, visual standards and physical fitness standards at OTA followed by Group test, Physical test, interview and medical examination.

Important Dates:
Last date for receipt of application at NCC Bn/Gp HQ: 31-01-2014.
Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC: 28-02-2014.
Last Date of Receipt of Application in Rtg Dte for Wards of battle casualities: 17-02-2014.
