UGC NET Paper III New Format

What is the new format of UGC NET paper III Exam???? Also provide me the minimum marks to qualify this paper??

As per the new guidelines, the third paper of UGC NET Exam, which earlier used to be descriptive, will now be objective like the first two papers.

As per the new parameters, general category will have to secure 40 marks each in first two papers, i.e., more than 50 percent marks combining both the papers. Whereas 50 percent marks in third paper are compulsory to qualify.

The minimum marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates have been reduced in first two papers. OBC candidates will be eligible for lectureship only if they secure 45 percent marks (35 each in Paper I and II) and 45 percent in Paper III.

Besides, handicap students SC/ST candidates also can qualify for NET only after getting 40 percent marks in Paper I and II. They will have to secure 40 percent in Paper III also. While OBC students need to secure 45 percent in Paper III.

UGC NET Paper III Format --
-Paper III will consist of 75 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate.
-Each question will carry 2 marks.
- It is total 150 marks
- Duration of Paper III Exam is 2 1/2 Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)
