Hello there, KCET is an entrance exam which is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority in order to impart admission to the eligible candidates for various courses in engineering in the colleges come under the state.

Eligibility:-

If you want to apply for B.Tech in the state:-

You must have passed 10+2 exam from any recognized board in the country.

You must have studied Physics and Maths along with any one of the optional subject i.e. Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or Electronics.

You must have acquired a minimum aggregate mark of 45% to become eligible to apply here.

Here I want to inform you that The minimum mark requirement for the SC/ST/OBC category candidates is 40%.

If you are applying for B.Arch course then you must have passed NATA test.


Its Application Fees for KCET is: Rs.750

Its Application fee can be paid via: DD

As you want Engineering course admission In Karnataka , so for it Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore is conducting the Common Entrance Test (CET 2015) for admission to first year undergraduate courses like Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Technology and Agriculture courses, for the academic year 2015-16.

KEA CET Eligibility For Engineering

You must have get minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer. (40% for SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates).

Documents need with application form :

SSLC / 10th standard Marks Card,
2nd PUC / 12th standard Marks Card of the candidate,
Candidate’s Study Certificate;
If claiming Rural quota: – Rural Study Certificate from 1st to 10th std for Ten Complete Years.
If claiming Kannada Medium quota: Kannada Medium Study Certificate from 1st to 10th std for Ten Complete Years;.
If claiming reservation benefits: Caste / Caste Income Certificate issued by Concerned Tahsildar- For SC / ST in Form-D, Category-I in form E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form F.
