Manav Rachna College of Engineering (MRCE) is NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, an autonomous institution of UGC) accredited and is conferred an A Grade by NAAC. Admission B Tech Normal Entry (CSE, ECE, IT & ME) 4 Years Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 65% marks in aggregate, from recognized Board / University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects:- (a) Chemistry (b) Biotechnology (c) Biology (d) Computer Science A relaxation of 5% shall be given in the minimum eligibility to girl applicant and applicant belonging to SC category. B Tech Lateral Entry (CSE, ECE, IT & ME) For Diploma & B Sc students 3 Years Candidate should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering & Technology of three years duration or more with minimum 60% marks in aggregate, from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent. Applicant should have passed B Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject. Provided that in case of applicant belonging to B Sc stream, shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering program along with the second year subjects. Provided further that the applicant belonging to B Sc stream shall be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with applicant belonging to the Diploma stream Provided further that applicant, who have passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology from an AICTE approved institution or B Sc Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the first year engineering degree courses subject to vacancies in the first year class in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. A relaxation of 5% shall be given in the minimum eligibility to girl applicant and applicant belonging to SC category. Joint Entrance Exam is one of the two Exams - other being JEE (Advanced) - of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for providing admission to Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, and Institutions funded by several participating State Governments. Eligibility Criterion Applicants must have passed 10+2. Applicants appearing in 10+2 final may also appear in JEE (Main) You can attempt to clear the JEE (Main) Exam three (3) times in consecutive years. For example the candidates who passed their +2 exam in 2011 or 2012 or who are appearing for their +2 exams in 2013 are only eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2013. Candidates who passed their +2 in 2010 or before or who are appearing for their +2 exams in 2014 is not eligible to appear in JEE (Main) 2013.
