I want to know about Limit for non creamy layer certificate for OBC students Here you want application form to make Non Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC Candidates for admission in Engineering Program at IIT Bombay campus, so I am giving application form: OBC Non Creamy Layer Certificate ![]() ![]() ![]() OBC Engineering Students Limit for Non Creamy Layer Certificate Revision of income criteria-The limit of annual income of Rs. 4.50 lakhs has been raised to Rs. 6.00 lakhs for determining the creamy layer among Other Backword Classes (OBCs) candidates in the centrally funded technical education institutes. If you fall under OBC-NC (Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer) category then you may apply under OBC-NC category while applying Online/Offline,even though if you have declared your birth category as GN (General) while applying for GATE. However you have to produce the OBC-NC certificate at the time of Written Test/Interview. The eligibility criteria for admission under OBC-NC (Other Backward Classes-Non Creamy Layer) are similar to general category candidates. Here I am giving you information about Limit for non creamy layer certificate for OBC Engineering Students below : Before 6th payment council the income for non creamy layer certificate was 2.5 lakhs. According to the previous recommendation made by the OBC Commission, the ceiling was kept at Rs 12 lakh per annum for urban areas and Rs 9 lakh for rural areas. After 6th payment council it becomes 5 lakhs. it means if your family income is less than 5 lakhs than you can obtain non creamy layer certificate ..
