HSPT Entrance Exam Catholic High Schools

Here I wish to apply for Catholic High School Entrance Exams HSPT so tell me what the pattern is of the exam and what the books are which can help me in preparation of the exam.

HSPT is an entrance exam to get admission in Catholic High Schools. If you want to join the school, you have to pass the exam.


There are following 5 parts in the HSPT exam:

1. The verbal skills part. The part has 60 questions related to vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, etc.

2. The quantitative skills section. The section has 52 questions related to numbers, sets of numbers, and both geometric and arithmetical.

3. The reading portion of the exam has 62 questions to test reading comprehension and the duration of the paper is 25 minutes.


4. The mathematics part of the exam has 64 questions and the duration of the paper is 45 minute.

5. The language part of the exam has 60 questions depends on grammar, word usage, sentence structure, etc., and the timing of the paper is 25 minutes.
