Here I am giving you process to become an astronaut in The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Basic Qualification Requirements Astronaut Candidate (Non-Piloting background) You have to pass a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics from a well recognized university.. Your Degree must be followed by at least 3 years of related professional experience or at least 1,000 pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft. An advanced degree is desirable and may be substituted for experience as follows: Master’s degree = 1 year of experience, doctoral degree = 3 years of experience. Physical requirements: Distant and near visual acuity: Must be correctable to 20/20, each eye Blood pressure not to exceed 140/90 measured in a sitting position Standing height between 62 and 75 inches

Astronauts are people who do activities related to human space exploration. Becoming an astronaut doesn't just happen overnight. It takes many years of education and experience to meet the basic qualifications. Qualifying exam Those who wish to become Astronauts needs to have a Bachelor’s degree in biological science, engineering, mathematics or physical science from a recognized university. They then need to obtain any one of the following degrees from renowned institutes like IISC or IIT. You can go for: PhD (Astrophysics). PhD (Geophysics). PhD (Metaphysics). After graduation, you can appear for the entrance exam which is held by the NASA for the recruitment of Scientists, Astronauts etc. You can also find employment in ISRO. There are many openings in ISRO which is conducted for the recruitment of Scientists and Engineers. In order to join the ISRO, the candidates need to clear the Joint Entrance Exam set by the IIT’s. Eligibility: Citizenship: those who are joining the ISRO need to be Indian citizens Age limit: you should be atleast 21 years at the time of joining. The age limit is relaxable for candidates belonging to the SC/ST category Qualification: you need to be Graduates from a recognized board or university.
